I discovered coach Leah on a podcast she did with Eric Roberts talking about breastfeeding and postpartum depression. At the moment I had just found out I was pregnant and she said everything I needed to hear to convince me to continue my fitness journey through pregnancy. I reached out to her during the end of my pregnancy were things were getting a bit difficult and she shared her experience with me and I felt heard and not alone.
After I gave birth I reached out and she was so kind and approachable. She gave me words of wisdom for breastfeeding and she talked about the hardships of PPD and was one of the key person in my life to give me the little push I needed to deal with my PPD. After this I started working out at 8 weeks PP and felt so intimidated because I had a C-section and I reached out to her and said “Leah talk dirty to me I need to get out of this funk” and that’s exactly what she did! I started operation Back2Basics with her help. She provided me with postpartum recovery exercises and the amazing change I saw in 4 weeks was insane. We worked on reconnecting with my core and gaining that confidence back on my lifts.
I am so glad I reached out for help because the postpartum fitness journey wouldn’t have looked the same if I hadn’t focused on the basics first. Thanks to Leah I am lifting weight like never before, even before pregnancy. My confidence has skyrocket and I honestly feel unstoppable. She has become a friend. Her words of wisdom and tough love has helped me reach a potential I didn’t think I was going to achieve so quick. She is truly the best!
